Strength & Conditioning Classes

Our strength and conditioning classes are the backbone of physical performance — designed to make you stronger, faster, and more capable in everyday life. These sessions focus on compound lifts, accessory work, and conditioning circuits that improve strength, endurance, and athleticism.

Expect a consistent, periodised program with clear progressions in your major lifts (like squats, deadlifts, presses) along with weekly conditioning to build work capacity. Every session is coach-led and adapted to suit all levels, so whether you’re just getting started or refining years of training, you’ll be moving better and performing stronger every week.

HYROX Training

HYROX is where endurance meets strength — a unique global fitness race format that’s as challenging as it is addictive. Our HYROX sessions are built for all levels, from first-timers to seasoned competitors. You'll train through a combination of running intervals and functional movements like sled pushes, burpee broad jumps, and farmers carries.

Expect smart, progressive programming that improves your conditioning, movement efficiency, and mental toughness. Every session is coached and structured, focusing on performance and skill refinement. Whether you’re competing or just love to train hard, this is the program that will push your limits — and raise your standards.

Open Gym

Open Gym allows members to train on their own terms, outside of class times. Whether you’re following a personal program, practicing specific movements, or just fitting in a session around your schedule, Open Gym gives you the freedom to do it your way.

Expect full access to high-quality equipment, a clean and structured training environment, and the ability to train solo while still being part of the Parkes Athletic community. Coaches are also available on the floor if you need guidance or support.

PA Little Ninjas

Our PA Little Ninjas program is a fun and functional fitness class for kids aged 5–12, designed to build the foundations of strength, coordination, agility, and confidence. Through obstacle-based training, bodyweight exercises, and games, kids learn to move well and develop a love for physical activity.

Sessions are carefully programmed to be age-appropriate, engaging, and safe — led by qualified coaches who focus on skill-building, teamwork, and fun. It’s the perfect program to support kids in their general development or as a base for future sports.

Team Training & Wellness Programs

At our facility, we offer specialized Team Training designed to enhance athletic performance, build cohesion, and improve sport-specific skills for sporting teams of all levels. Alongside physical training, we understand the importance of holistic health, which is why we provide Mental Health Workshops aimed at equipping athletes with strategies to manage stress, build resilience, and foster a positive mindset both on and off the field.

Our comprehensive Nutrition Seminars educate participants on fueling their bodies effectively for performance, recovery, and overall wellbeing, tailored to the unique demands of their sport. - contact Parkes Athletic to book a session

We also host Men’s Mental Health Nights — relaxed, welcoming events where men can openly discuss mental health challenges without judgment. These sessions aim to break down stigma, build connection, and share practical strategies for emotional wellbeing. Facilitated by experienced men, they offer valuable tools, peer support, and a space to build resilience in everyday life.
